GCDA TEAM

GCDA have in place a structured, experienced dynamic and enthusiastic team to aid the successful direction of our organisation as well as the development and successful delivery of key projects and programmes. Highlighted below are the GCDA board and Executive team, but behind these are enthusiastic and dedicated community groups all aligned to bring lasting positive changes and results to Glenbarr.

GCDA Board

Elected by the GCDA membership, the board represent the membership in providing overriding decision making on strategic direction and governance of operations, projects and activities.

Executive team

Appointed by the board, the GCDA Executive team manage and take lead on project development and delivery, financial management, communications and administration.

Community lead

Community Working Groups operate within GCDA framework to direct projects in collaboration with the GCDA executive team to keep the community at the heart of all GCDA programmes.

Lorraine MacPhail

Chairperson

One of GCDA’s original board members, Lorraine has been acting as Chair since August 2023 after stepping up from vice-chair.

Iain McLeod

Vice-chair & GCDA’s external representative

As well as being a respected voice on the GCDA board, Iain was appointed GCDA’s representative on Fyne Energy’s board in late 2023.

Lois Fell

Board Member

A valued member of Glenbarr’s community, Lois joined the board in 2024 and brings her strong opinion at board level.

Anne Littleson

Board Member

An experienced community member through associations with local schools, Killegruer farm and caravan site and the church, Anne is another of GCDA’s founding board members.

Eilidh MacAlister

Board Member

Having recently been professionally associated with Glenbarr Primary School and as well as graduating from further education, Eilidh joined the board in May 2023.

Jamie Titterton

Board Member

GCDA’s newest board member, Jamie brings strong insight from his professional background and will be assisting heavily in ongoing community engagement success.

Celeste Lawrence

Programme Manager

Celeste joined the GCDA Executive team in October 2025 tasked with delivering identified projects, and offers a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.

Dan Carson

Finance and Communications Manager

Since joining GCDA in May 2022, Dan’s background in the financial operations has led him to take the lead on financial management, communications, IT and project delivery.

Linda Houston

Consultant Development Manager

Having joined GCDA in December 2022, Linda brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role at GCDA to bring strategic direction to our organisation.

Jayne Allan

Administration Coordinator

A respected and valued community member, Jayne provides GCDA with administrative services at board level.

Woodland Ranger

An upcoming position expected soon, the Ranger will be responsibile for woodland maintanence, enhancement and community involvement.
